Show the work.
Let people try it.
A strong developer profile quickly answers three questions: what do you build, where can I see it working, and how can I reach you? Use a focused Wall for the introduction and a collection for the deeper project tour.

Make the profile feel personal and focused
Use a clear profile photo, your name, and a short bio that describes the kind of work you do. For example:
Add only the social profiles you keep current—such as GitHub, LinkedIn, or X. A small, intentional icon row looks more polished than a long list of inactive accounts.
Feature one project on the main Wall
Start the Wall with a short text introduction and a direct link to your strongest project. Give each block a useful title instead of a generic label.
A GitHub repository is a normal destination link. It does not render as an embedded repository page.
Create a “Projects, Demos & Code” collection
Give the collection a focused title and a description that explains what visitors will find.
Use one collection for a coherent portfolio tour. If you have several distinct areas of work, create separate collections such as “Open-source projects” and “UI experiments.”
Add the collection items
Choose the block that fits each item. Replace the sample handles, project names, and IDs with your own public URLs.
“02 — Featured repository” · Link to https://github.com/YOUR_HANDLE/YOUR_PROJECT
“03 — Try it live” · Media or developer embed using https://stackblitz.com/github/YOUR_HANDLE/YOUR_PROJECT
“04 — Interface experiment” · Media or developer embed using https://codepen.io/YOUR_HANDLE/pen/YOUR_PEN_ID
“05 — Reusable snippet” · Media or developer embed using https://gist.github.com/YOUR_HANDLE/YOUR_GIST_ID
“06 — How it works” · Text block or link to your technical write-up
Developer embeds are supported for GitHub Gists, CodePen, StackBlitz, CodeSandbox, and JSFiddle. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, and SoundCloud are also supported. Other valid URLs appear as links. Some projects may not be embeddable because of provider settings or technology limitations.
For a live demo, StackBlitz can import many public GitHub web projects. Check that the project is supported and public before sharing the embed.
Set the display order intentionally
Collection items appear newest first, and there is no automatic step numbering. To show the sequence above, create the items in reverse: add “How it works” first and “Start here” last. Number titles manually only when that order is meaningful.
Open the public collection on both desktop and mobile. Check that the first visible item explains where to begin and that each embed has a clear title.
Keep the next step easy
Finish with a contact or booking link, a professional profile, or a call to collaborate. Keep the full Wall as your portfolio home and share the focused collection when someone asks to see your projects.
